About Me
My yoga practice actually sprouted from anger.
After years of social justice activism, I was isolated, judgemental, and burnt out. My body was exhausted from years of neglect and poor eating habits.
But I soon realized that yoga was medicine for my body and for my spirit. For the first time in years, my muscles relaxed and so did my mind. It was incredible! Feeling physically and emotionally refreshed, I found the energy to make more healthful choices.
Over time, I became a yoga teacher and then a conflict resolution specialist for businesses.
I created this virtual retreat to help other people take a break from physical and emotional stress.
Frequently Asked Questions
When can I start?
As soon as you want to feel better! This is a self-paced course, but I’d recommend completing it in five consecutive days rather than stretching it over weeks.
How long do I have to complete the course?
You’ll have access to all materials until September 1st, 2022.
Why is there a deadline?
As you may have experienced yourself, when you can make a change anytime…it never really happens. Deadlines are tool to help you get started and maintain your momentum to the end of the reset. If something comes up and you need an extension, just email me.
I’m not very good with tech. Is it simple to access?
Absolutely! I’ll send you all the links you need in one email. Just click through, one by one, until you finish.
What else do I need?
All you need is a yoga mat, and:
– a committment to follow the Yoga Reset five days in a row.
– a willingness to try new recipes and experiment with unfamiliar ingredients
– a playful attitude
Is this suitable for my body?
My yoga practices are gentle and suitable for all bodies. Even if you haven’t done any exercise for a long time, you’ll be able to follow along.
Do the recipes acommodate allergies and dietary needs?
All recipes are vegan, gluten-free and easily adapted for other dietary needs. If you’re ever not sure about a subsitution, just ask!
